Diploma in Grief and Loss

There is no correct or incorrect way to endure loss. ❤️

Grief is not an illness or a sign of being weak. It costs you emotionally, physically, and spiritually, but it is a necessary part of being in love. "The only way to get over sadness is to feel it."

Whether due to an unexpected illness, a life-altering handicap, the dissolution of a marriage, or the death of a loved one, sorrow may strike quickly… And it may move into our hearts and brains without our permission.

At some point in our lives, each and every one of us will encounter the agony of sadness and the process of grieving. As part of the human experience, loss is an expected, even anticipated, but unpleasant intrusion for which no one is totally prepared. This is why it is essential to comprehend the mourning process in order to move past the grief of loss and start steps toward recovery.

There is no right or wrong way to mourn or experience loss. You may encounter a variety of feelings. This is a component of accepting a loss or mourning.
