Dr John Crimmins

Dr. John Crimmins is a highly experienced consultant psychotherapist from Ireland, with a 25-year clinical background. He received his psychotherapy training at Trinity College, Dublin and has further honed his expertise through specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with the Eating Disorder Unit at the renowned Maudsley Hospital in London. Dr. Crimmins served as the senior manager of Ireland’s leading progressive addiction residential facility, demonstrating his extensive knowledge in Group Psychodynamics. In addition to his professional pursuits, he maintains a thriving private practice where he applies CBT to address a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, eating disorders, addiction, and more. Notably, Dr. Crimmins played a pivotal role in establishing the Kildare Street Clinic for Eating Disorders alongside esteemed Eating Disorder Psychiatrist, Dr. Anne Leader, solidifying his commitment to providing comprehensive care in this specialized field.
